KJT IGNITION. The successor to the BEF+, our back end flash for JB4 equipped Stinger, G70 and G80.

The BEF+ became the most trusted back end flash in the platform for one reason: you keep full control of boost through your JB4, so poor fuel or a hot day never leaves you stuck on a boost level the tune chose for you. Ignition keeps that principle intact and adds the one thing the BEF+ could never do: it learns.

Why Ignition replaces the BEF+

Adaptive fuel. The BEF+ was built for one fuel chosen at checkout. Ignition reads the fuel in the tank, from premium through E50, and corrects the mixture on its own within about 15 minutes of normal driving after a fill-up. Change blends, drive, done.

Adaptive timing. The calibration starts conservative and advances on its own while it sees clean, knock-free combustion. A rough pull from bad fuel or heat soak takes some of it back, and the car earns it again afterwards. Timing settles over a few drives, not one pull.

Boost stays yours. Ignition does not touch the factory boost tables. Boost lives where your JB4 map puts it, exactly as the BEF+ always worked.

Full ECU drivability on a back end flash. Sharpened throttle response, quicker turbo ramp, optimized top end cam timing, raised rev limit, speed limiter removed, drive-off limiter removed so it launches instead of hesitating, shift pops on hard upshifts, start-up blip.

No fuel selection at checkout. One file covers premium through E50 and adapts to what you run.

Burbles: Moderate suits most exhaust setups. Mild is barely audible. Aggressive is for full race exhaust only.

After the flash: reset adaptive values once with the EK1, then leave it alone. Give it 15 minutes of normal driving after a fill-up before your first hard pull.

Be sure you have bootpatched under your OEM calibration and have the full OEM file and or Recovery file.
